To my little family

A long time ago I wrote my last post on this blog. By then this was a blog for my family and friends in Portugal, so they could keep up with the news from Saint-Etienne. Everytime I wrote something here it was like I was going through an experience that would never end, or at least it seemed to me to be a looong experience: I couldn't believe I was there and at the same time I couldn't believe I would ever come back... Everything was quite unreal and the only people that know what I'm talking about are the ones who were there with me. Today's post is for them... to my little family: to Ania with whoom I learned that is possible to keep searching for sweetness in every little thing, to Benek, our only boy that teached me that distances are made in our minds, to Zosia that cried in our last night making the separation even more dificult and who is so similar to me in so many little things although in such a different way, to Silvia, our big mamma Silvia with her Shakira hips, the only woman I met able to turn on a totaly gay man and also the only "gentlelady" I ever heard saying "Did you hear miiiiaauuu?? There's a cow here!", para a Sónia, compatriota querida que me apareceu no primeiro dia quando eu ainda estava toda contente e orgulhosa de ter ido sozinha e que depois me soube tão bem ter por perto, quando desabafar em português foi um luxo em momentos que fizeram de nós duas amigas tão cúmplices, and to Simona, my simosimo that shared much more than a stinky apartment with me, we shared a life there. For 4 monthes I had a sister making me coffee in the morning, risotto in the afternoon and laughing out like crazy all day long for things like "une histoire d'ongles c'est un affaire des mains". I'm already laughing here alone!
I miss all of you like a part of me has been taken away and I can't wait to see you again. Sometimes I think "If we could have just one more diner all toghether...!".
Well, from now on I'll keep this blog working I don't exactly what for, sometimes in english, some others in portuguese, just keep in touch and we'll see what happens.
